Industrial research project to strengthen the capacities of the Spanish manufacturing companies through the implementation of AI tools enhancing the optimization of the additive manufacturing value chain of new metallic alloys (in aeronautics, space, industrial, among other verticals).

BitMetrics participa en el proyecto METALIA (“Tecnologías Habilitadoras para la Implementación de la Inteligencia Artificial en la cadena de valor de la Fabricación Aditiva de nuevas aleaciones metálicas”).

Objetivos:

  • fortalecer las capacidades del tejido industrial español mediante la implementación de herramientas de IA para la optimización de la cadena de valor de la fabricación aditiva de nuevos materiales metálicos en diferentes sectores industriales (biotecnología industrial, sector aeronáutico, espacio, industrial, entre otros) aumentando las posibilidades de industrialización de la fabricación aditiva

  • como parte de la iniciativa TransMisiones 2023, fomentar la colaboración eficaz entre las empresas que forman la agrupación CDTI con los centros de investigación de la agrupación AEI, favoreciendo un entorno que propicie la generación de resultados científicos hacia niveles avanzados de madurez tecnológica gracias a una correcta transferencia entre la investigación científica y el desarrollo tecnológico.

It is focused on enabling technologies such as additive manufacturing, human-robot collaboration strengthened with Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Internet of Things and Computer vision.

BitMetrics participa en el proyecto colaborativo “INVESTIGACIÓN DE NUEVAS SOLUCIONES FLEXIBLES BASADAS EN PATRONES DE IA E IOT PARA UNA PRODUCCIÓN 5.0 MÁS SEGURA, EFICIENTE Y SOSTENIBLE”, cofinanciado con fondos FEDER y fondos CDTI.

OBJETIVO: Investigación industrial y creación de sinergias en dos casos de uso:

  • Tecnologías habilitadoras verticales como son, la fabricación aditiva de piezas metálicas y su post-procesado por un lado, y por otro, nuevos procesos basados en la robótica colaborativa Hombre-Robot como la robotización del embalaje en almacenes.

  • Impulsar dichas tecnologías mediante el empleo de Inteligencia Artificial, IoT (Industrial Internet of Things) y la visión artificial, conduciendo todas ella a procesos de fabricación digitalizados con menor nivel de residuo, más versátiles y con mayor calidad.

PLAZO DE EJECUCIÓN: 01/10/2022 – 31/12/2024.

This project contributes to knowledge and experience sharing between Vocational Training Centers in Spain and specialized companies to enhance the education of professionals providing professors and students with access and training to the latest advances in technologies such AI, Computer Vision and collaborative robotics.
